I used to meet him often to listen to him when he will sensibly make jokes and advise me too on the academic as well as personal fronts. He was very kind to invite me to his home, offer me tasty things to eat along with tea, and talk about circumstances. I was generally the quiet listener. Yeah, I miss his advice and also the laughter moments.

I will miss his humor and guidance. He was very mature in his articulations and we interacted several times in the institute in various fora. I remember that I ran into him several years after his retirement and just quizzed him about his retired life. His prompt Answer -"a professor never retires. Abhi tho bahut kuch aur karna hai." I pray god give his family members, friends, students and colleagues strength to tide over this loss.

It is really sad that Dr. Manohar Prasad passed away. He was not only a great professor but also a great human being. He helped everyone and students liked him because of his kindness and be helpful to them, whenever they needed help. His book was a handbook and many of us kept it even after graduation. May his soul rest in peace and his family may be able to bear this huge loss. God bless him and his family.
