1) Application of linear algebra, optimization methods and information theory to study problems in: 
a) Cooperative wireless communications, multiuser MIMO communication systems. 
b) Multi-hop and multi-cell wireless networks. 
c) Cloud-RAN and energy-efficient wireless systems. 

2) PHY and cross-layer algorithms for 4G/5G wireless systems. 

3) Interested in building wireless systems to investigate: 
a) Realistic performance of state-of-the-art one and two-way relaying algorithms. 
b) Cross-Layer design between digital baseband and analog RF for full-duplex and mm-wave wireless systems.
