Conduction: Steady and unsteady problems and their solutions in Cartesian, cylindrical and spherical coordinates. Separation of variables. Duhamels theorem. La place transform. Problems involving change of phase. Inverse heat conduction, Micro scale heat transfer, Radiation: Radiative exchange among black and grey and spectral surfaces, Shape factors. Applications to cavities and enclosures. Integral equations approach. Radiation from gases vapors and flames.
