Research Interest

Current interest is in the area of CO2 utilization using supported metal based catalysts. These include the dry reforming reaction, methanation reaction and the methanol formation reaction. Development of: (i) a single step process for Karanja oil conversion and (ii) a low temperature ozone decomposition catalyst is also underway. Combinations of experimental and computational techniques are being explored to understand and design the catalysts. Previous research included those on the oxidative dehydrogenation of alkanes to alkenes using supported metal oxide catalysts.
