Course Contents

Conformational studies of bio molecules, protein secondary structure, 3Dstructuresof proteins, DNA structures, membrane proteins. X-ray and NMR techniques, electron crystallography, other spectroscopic techniques used to deduce structural information (CD, IR, FTIR, Raman, Solid State NMR, ESR etc.), Homology modeling, computational studies to understand the structure function relationships of proteins, molecular mechanics and dynamics, force fields, bio molecular simulation programs. Structural genomics, high through put structure determination.
